Get Fair Coverage in Your Insurance

Employee health plans

Most people think that the insurance company determines their health benefits. But it's your employer that chooses what your health plan covers. The Right Person to send the letter to is the boss, or the manager in charge of employee benefits for your company. If you have a union, you may want to send a letter to your employer and to your union rep.

Student health plans

We believe that a college or university that covers prescriptions in the student health plan is required to cover contraception in the same way as other prescriptions. If your student insurance plan covers prescriptions but not contraception, you can make a difference. Remember, it is up to each school to choose a plan that treats the students fairly. The Right Person to send a letter to is the person/people in charge of choosing the student health plan.
